The 3rd Song of Isaiah, Isaiah 60:1-19
-
Verse 1
Arise and look to the Skies
The morning trumpet sounds
Though parched in the desert we lie
Flowers now spring from the ground
Ever nation shall see (echo)
God’s Glory as the light descends (echo)
Verse 2
Come all and gather around
Estranged sons and daughters come home
The fabled messiah now found
Sent through a virgin’s womb
Every hearth is aflame (echo)
As all the beautiful sing (echo)
For the manger of Bethlehem cradles a King.
Verse 3
We rejoice in the light
And we echo the song
Come down to break the night
From the heavenly throng
Ay! We Shout (echo)
Our future hope has finally come (echo)
And we greet in His cradle our Savior and King!
Verse 4
Hail to the Lord of Light
Who makes the sun and moon lame
Long awaited child now guide
Be out everlasting flame
Jesus Light of the World (echo)
Our savior come now in flesh (echo)
For, our promised salvation is coming near, through a child, a king
